The Hangover!

Ok. I fell in love again, or maybe I fell obsessed. I have seen the Hangover. Twice.
This movie will make you want to hop on the next plane to Vegas in search of insanity.
When it comes to Comedy, this is what I am looking for. The story? I don't know if there really is much of one. This movie is like playing clue but in real life, and instead of a murder mystery, it's Where's Waldo...? Im going to stop referencing my childhood now.
I sat down and was scared, and borderline disappointed by the beginning. I didn't trust it, but I should have. It's one of those movies where you start at the end and then work your way to the beginning, but not in that annoying way that makes you think. No, no, no! The Hangover takes your hand ever so gently and then it says, "Darling, Take a seat in this theatre here and relax. Enjoy yourself, and be careful not to choke on your popcorn when the laughter starts."
The laughter starts very quickly, and then it refuses to leave.
The Hangover is written by Jon Lucas and Scott Moore. I want to get in their heads. They must be crazy. The majority of the movie, we follow actors Bradley Cooper, Ed Helms, and Zach Galifianakis around Las Vegas as their characters Phil, Stu, an Allan try to find their buddy.
I thought my first trip to Vegas was insane. Thanks to my sister, I got into a random car with three large men (at least one of them turned out to be a pimp), and what ended up being a Hooker. We drove around places I can't recall and got dropped of in the parking lot of a stripper joint with no way of getting home. Just a warning out to the rest of you, if someone pulls up to you on the strip and says "Hey! We want to party!", they mean "Hey! We want to convert you to hookerism!". During that trip I also saw Outkast, Kanye West, and Lennox Lewis. None of this compares to what you will see in The Hangover.
All I can do is recommend that you watch The Hangover. Again, and again and again. I laughed just as hard the second time as the first. I actually watched it twice because I was laughing so hard the first time, I missed a bit of dialogue. This is a Purchase worthy movie for when it comes on DVD as well. Go see it. Enjoy yourself!
Signing out,
